Current BI technology mainly focuses on data-intensive analytics. New generation of BI technology will be more concerned with decision-making support on cognitive orientation. This research project is developing related theories, framework, and technologies through combining data warehousing, data mining, cognitive psychology, knowledge management, and decision making theories to facilitate cognitive business intelligence.
